Article 1 (Purpose)
The purpose of these terms and conditions is to set out the detailed performance and observance of the contract concluded between Swiss Travel Plus GmbH (hereinafter referred to as the “Organizer”) and the Traveler.
Article 2 (Specification of the contract)
2.1 The contract with the Organizer or the registration or reservation made orally or in writing on other platforms (points of sale) creates a binding contract between the Customer and the Organizer. This also applies to partial deposits paid by the traveler and to the cost of the entire amount.
2.2 When contracting with third parties (transportation, activities, hotels, etc.), the terms and conditions of the third party apply. The Organizer is not involved in the relevant legal provisions and the Organizer is not responsible in case of problems with third parties and travelers.
article 3 (prices and payment)
3.1 We base our prices in Swiss Francs (CHF), while prices displayed on other platforms are adjusted according to the current daily exchange rate.
3.2 Upon confirmation of the booking, the traveler shall pay 30% of the total price as a down payment for the tour. The deposit is non-refundable in case of unilateral cancellation of the Tour by the Customer. If no other arrangements have been made, the total amount will be paid by card payment link one week prior to the start of the Tour date.
Article 4 (Cancellation of the Tour by the Customer)
4.1 In principle, tour cancellations must be made by email.
4.2 Refunds and reimbursements are determined by the traveler’s cancellation date as follows
– 21-30 days prior to service use: 20%.
– 10 to 20 days before the service: 30
– 3-9 days before the service: 50%.
– Cancellation or No Show within 48 hours of the service: 100
4.3 Tour End Time If the tour is terminated early by the traveler, the tour amount for the remaining time is not refundable.
article 5 (modification of the contract)
Prior to the commencement of the tour, changes can be made to the expressly booked tour program, agreed services. If, prior to the commencement of the tour, it becomes necessary to proceed differently from the previously announced travel plans, such as an unavoidable change of destination due to weather or a change of destination due to a train strike, the Organizer will inform the Traveler of the changes as soon as possible.
If, after being informed of the changes, the Traveler does not agree with the changes, the Traveler may cancel the Contract or modify the Contract.
In the case of cancellation, the refund clause 4.2 shall apply and the approval of the changes shall be made in writing within 5 days. In the case of withdrawal from the Contract, the Traveler shall be entitled to a refund of the entire amount, including the amount paid, within a maximum period of 2 weeks.
Article 6 (Travel Insurance)
Insurance is not provided by the Organizer. It is the responsibility of the traveler to obtain travel insurance abroad.
Article 7 (Tour Cancellation by the Organizer)
The traveler is entitled to reimbursement of the amount already paid. To the extent possible, we will discuss with the traveler an alternative tour date or provide alternatives such as being replaced by someone other than the tour guide or photographer. If the Event or any part of it cannot proceed due to safety concerns, official actions, strikes, dangerous or uncertain weather conditions, the Organizer reserves the right to cancel or suspend the Event.
Article 8 (Applicable Law and Competent Court)
These Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Swiss law. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the information contained herein shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bern, Switzerland.
